Black and White Exhibition – 9-26 Oct 2018 / 3 events: 1- Callout to all artists: Both JCAA members and non-members are encouraged to exhibit artworks at this exhibition – registrations close on 18 Sep. The theme for the exhibition is black and white, tones of grey and silver! Explore concepts and images, contrasts, positive and negative space, textures, patterns and nuances using graphite, paint, printmaking, textiles, sculptural form, collage, mixed media and other appropriate media – no boundaries. 2- Exhibition and Opening Celebration on 14 Oct and 3- Life Drawing Session on 13 Oct.

Drawing, Painting & Sculpture Workshops for Youth Aug-Sep 2018

Drawing, Painting and Sculpture Workshops for Youth with Annette Peterson. Separate sessions for 8-12 years and 13-18 years. These workshops are all about “Portraits”. Choose from three types of workshops:
1. Drawing and Painting #1 – Right Brain,
2. Drawing and Painting #2 – Left Brain,
3. Sculpture.
Sessions on Saturday morning (9.30am-12noon) and afternoon (1pm-3.30pm) on 25 Aug, 8 Sep and 15 Sep. Cost is $50 per workshop and includes all material. Each student should bring an A4 photo of themselves or someone to use as a model.
