JCAA Members Art Awards Exhibition: The Joondalup Community Arts Association is holding its annual Members Art Awards exhibition from 28 January to 24 February. This stems from last year’s JCAA Selection Exhibition held in August where five winners were selected:* Joanna Webber * Susan Hoy * Natalia Kaighin * Julia Andrijasevich * Anne Muller
These five artists will now present three new artworks as well as the pieces exhibited in the Selection Exhibition. An overall winner will be selected by three judges.

JCAA Christmas Art Market 28 Nov – 20 Dec 2019 / Many excellent artists contribute fantastic works for sale. These unique objects are priced at $250.00 or less. Works include high quality paintings and craft items such as pottery, hand-made jewellery, glass ware, hand-made cards and other creations. This is a yearly event which usually attracts over 1,500 visitors during the Twilight Markets. Excellent chance to buy a unique gift for someone you love.

JCAA Members Selection Exhibition 2019 / JCAA Members Selection Exhibition 6-30 Aug 2019 / The exhibition is open to existing and new members of the Joondalup Community Arts Association. Winners in each of the 5 categories get a free one year membership to the JCAA and are invited to compete in the JCAA Art Award 2020 exhibition for the ultimate prize of $500.

Online Youth Photography Exhibition – Call for Entries – 4 Mar-30 Apr 2019 / Run in conjunction with the Community Art Exhibition, this is an online exhibition only. The Student (Youth) Photography Online Gallery is open to students between the ages of 11-18 enrolled at an educational establishment within the City of Joondalup or who reside within the Joondalup Boundary.
Community Art Exhibition – Call for Entries – 4 Mar-30 Apr 2019 / The annual Community Art Exhibition is held in June each year at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City. It is open to City of Joondalup residents and members of local visual arts associations (you can join/renew your membership to the JCAA). It offers a variety of non-acquisitive awards each year, such as the Overall Award for the Most Outstanding Artwork Award, media specific categories and a variety of themed awards with specific criteria.
Renata Wright is the winner of the 2019 Joondalup Community Arts Association (JCAA) Members Art Award. This award follows from last year’s “JCAA Members Selection Exhibition” where artists competed in five categories: Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photographic & Digital Media and Technical Excellence. The winner of each category then went on to produce 3 more works to present in this exhibition. The judging for the overall winner of the JCAA Members Art Award 2019 was done by three external judges.
Adorn – exhibition and workshops – 18 Mar – 12 Apr 2019 / The Adorn exhibition will showcase the work of the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia, WA (JMGA WA Inc). Come along and celebrate a display of unique contemporary jewellery and objects by JMGA WA members, whose use of skills and materials take adornment to new levels. Explore mankind’s desire for individuality through the concept of adornment at a series of creative workshops. Manic Mobile Popup Exhibition 26 Feb to 15 Mar 2019 – Artist Call Out / Challenge yourself to inspire, entertain, push boundaries, experiment, explore and make something unique, different, curious, tactile and challenging.
