These artists use a variety of media including oils, acrylic, watercolours, inks, pastels, crayons and collage. The themes differ from artist to artist. Clare focuses on the Western Australian environment ranging from arid regions to verdant areas as well as including the fury of the Southern Ocean. Her colours are bold and strong echoing the intensity of our sunlight. Mignon uses inspiration taken from touring sites of the ancient Greeks and from mythology. Carl’s works explore a range of styles from realism to abstraction, and are mainly derived from the environment.
If you have never been to an Art gallery before, this is your chance. There is no entry fee and you may find just what you are looking for as a present or to fill an empty space on a wall as all the artworks are for sale at very reasonable prices.
